Isimac Machine Company Achieves ISO 9001: 2000 Registration

Reading, PA – The Management System of ISIMAC Machine Company, Inc. has been certified to ISO 9001: 2000 by KEMA-Registered Quality, Inc. KEMA registration recognizes the implementation of effective quality systems that meet the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). IMC’s registration date is June 1, 2006 and is effective for three years. It applies to the company’s manufacturing facility located in the Excelsior Industrial Park, Blandon, Pennsylvania. The business scope is the manufacture of miniature and medium-sized precision parts for the electronic, medical, aerospace, cryogenic and defense industries.
Founded in 1964, IMC has been supplying machined parts in a wide variety of materials to many of the major companies for the industries listed in the scope above. In-house capabilities for prototyping, CNC milling, CNC Swiss machining, wire EDM, finishing and laser etching allow the customer a great deal of design flexibility. Conformity of products and services to the International Standards provides additional assurance regarding quality and reliability to these customers.
